weight loss
Hi There Rosie. Congratulations on gettiing on the other side!!! First thing - don't panic by looking at the scale. It will make you "nuts"
and you shouldn't base everything on this alone. Everyone is different too and some people do tend to lose the weight faster than others. I hope that before you stopped seeing your doctor/nutritionist they gave some reading materials for foods. The first month or so is very critical - I mean - you just had major surgery and to not have any medical support/assistance is scary. We, on this site, can "help" you with our own stories etc., however, you still at this stage of your progress need medical assistance. As for my story, after my surgery - I thought I had to start making co-pays with the doc's visits but I haven't paid a thing yet. So basically I have "free" visits. Check with the doc about followup visits. What I also wanted to tell you is normal to feel that you are not losing as fast as someone else, however, remember there is no rush. The normal expected "time frame" to lose a good amount of eweight is 12 - 18 months then the weight levels off to 1-2 lbs a week sometimes more, sometimes less. I was losing "steadily" for the first 6 months and now I'm 7 months and it's been about 6 - 6 1/2 weeks since I've been in a stall..meaning I've bounced around 2 lbs back and forth and have not moved much from there. I work out extensively and am eating right (what little I'm eating). Sorry for being lengthly, but I don't want you to panic. In our world - what is normal?

Thanks Ruth,Ya know I regret this whole ordeal. I can't take the pain of not being able to eat. God blessed me with this op. I prayed for 3 yrs and here I am complaining. I hate protein and I'm thirsy all the time. I love water and I cant even drink that like I use to. I wish that it was 1-3 months out already. I praise God for opening the doors for this to take place and I feel bad that I sorta have these feelings, I mean 80% of me is happy but the other 20 is regretful. I have been feeling like this since day 1 after my surgery. I mean can you imagen and I guess you can
but someone like me that ate all day on 3,000 cal. not being able to eat any more! Its hard very hard. And I'm afraid that I have not been following the rules.
xoxoxo
