New to the Florida message board!!!!!

Hi! My name is Jennifer White. I was told about the Florida board from Charlie C. (Thanks Charlie)!!! I am having surgery 7/6/05. I am 30yrs old, married, no children (but have a very funny & sweet Boxer named Autumn), and live in DeLand. I was born & raised here. I would love to talk to anyone from this area!!! Thanks, Kat. Are you pre/post op? Do you attend any support groups? We have a wonderful group that meets at Halifax Medical Center every 2nd Thurs. of the month. We would love for you to join us!!!! Jen W.

I am 3 weeks (almost) post op. I didn;t know that there was a support group at Halifax. I will have to keep that in mind. What time and what part of Halifax (big hospital) Smiles, Kat

Kat...its in the Oncology department...not hard to find at all....its the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7pm...maybe a bunch of us can get together can meet somewhere for dinner....and go together... Hugs Charlie

Which building is that in Charlie? The main hospital or the one next to it? I have only been to Halifax 1 time.

Kat....I think its just north of the main building....if you go in the entrance from Clyde Morris.....turn right onto CM from ISB then right into the drive you can't miss it....its a big building that says Oncology....you park in lot on the side and go in the side entrance...easy as pie... Hi Jennifer! Welcome to the Florida board. Any friend of Charlie's is a friend of mine. Wow, a native Floridian I didn't think there were that many around. Do me a favor please and consider changing your screen name so it doesn't show your full name and location. People have had difficulties with their posts and journal entries sometimes showing up during a google search. Also--you never know what nutcases are out there. Most of us are nice though.
