Bumped again!!!
I heard through my friend who has been in touch with our surgeon's office that clinics have been cancelled a lot recently because the surgeon's husband has been ill. So I called to check if I am still going to have my appointment on Monday, which was suppose to have been May 23rd, but I was bumped to July 18th...and of course the patient coordinator called back to apologize that I was NOT going to be seen on Monday and that as of now my appointment will be late August/early September...but she is going to try and get me in sooner...ummm like she tried to get me in back in June! I am so pissed right now...not so much about getting bumped, because I know the husband is really sick and has had several surgeries...but I have also been having many problems and I would have liked to have gotten more notice than 4 days...I have to plan a whole day off of work for these D#*$ appointments and my boss actually wanted to have a 2-day retreat next MT but I told him I had an appointment I couldn't miss...and now I don't!!! And both times I HAD to call and find out about my appointments, after hearing from my friend!!! I'm really not sure the "best" is worth this anymore, what's good is seeing the best, if you can't get seen??? Then I hear of patients not showing up for their appointments....ooooo....if I ever come across one of the them.
