looking for support group in Tallahassee or N. FL, So Ga, or So AL...

I just found this website the other day. I'm still trying to find my way around, so I just found this for Florida.... I'm so glad.... Do any of you know of a 'in-person' support group around the Tallahassee area? My surgeron is no longer in town, and I can't seem to find any information on a support group. Please help!!! Angie

Hi Angie Welcome to the board. I live in DOthan and I can tell you that we have some good ones here in south alabama. I do know that there are some in Tally...they jsut havent posted them yet. But as for here ...there is a Support group that meets at SEAMC the 2nd Tuesday of each month on the 7th floor of the Doctors Buildingn at 6:00pm We also have a OH support group here in DOthan that meets every other thursday and saturday at Shoneys here in Dothan. I think it is right off 231. I have been to the hospital there. Its funny come to think of it this pic of me here was taken in the waiting room there. My son had eye surgery there.

Angie, Yes, we have a wonderful support group in Tallahassee.
