Had consult today...

Hi everyone....gee I wrote a post a little earlier and it never appeared....well I went and met with the new surgeon helping Dr Haicken, very nice man......go figure he said I have a nice belly....never heard that one before...anywho...he said it was nice and smooth and perfect for a lap RNY...so he told me of all the possible complications , showed me where the cuts would be and said its a for the surgery now its all up to the insurance....so lets see what do I have to do now.......OH YEA WAITTTTTTT!!......billing lady said she would have my papers faxed to insurance before the end of the week and that my particular insurance has up to 2 weeks to respond...so it could be anytime...now for the bad news.... I gained 15 lbs since my last visit about 3 months ago...but nurse said alot of it could be water weight cause my feet and legs are very swollen with water...its just the numbers that upset me...the NUMBERS are EVIL!!!! but I am set out to squash that evil number and make it go down...well everyone have a wonderful week...and I will update as soon as I hear anything Love to all April

Hi April, 2 weeks is not far away. Good luck to you. The water weight could be right. When I had heart failure a few weeks back they said I had 15 lbs access water. They gave me a low dosage of lasix.
