The good and the bad
I am happy tp report that 7 1/2 month post op, I have lost 101 lbs.
and I have had little to no problems since surgery. But i guess with all good comes bad. Recently I got sick with what I thought was a cold or flu but was very wrong. I ran a fever for several days my pcp was giving antiboctic shots and i did not improve, it got worse, I started seeing blood in my urine (all this in 4 days time). I went to urgentcare who did blood work and sent my to the ER to be admitted because my kidneys were shutting down. I found out I had pneumonia and was in renal faliure. I spent 6 days in the hospital, did a kidney biopsy. As of right now I still don't know the result of that, it had to be sent to the Mayo Clinic. I have been told they think I have an rare auto imune disease but they won't be sure which one until the results are back. I am so mad
because I can't get in to see the renal doc to see until the 17th. so I have to sit here and wonder whats wrong with me.
I hope all of you are doing well.
