TV Show Starved

The media department at ObesityHelp.com is interested in finding out what our members feelings are about the new FX tv show titled Starved, which airs Thursday nights at 10 p.m. Do you take offense to the dialogue about four friends dealing with their individual eating disorders or do you find it funny? I personally find it offensive. This is a heartbreaking and embarassing issue and I was very turned off by the previews.

I think the show is extremly funny, It isn't making fun of anyone for being overweight, they even have a character that is thinking about getting the gastric bypass and it shows the ups and downs that he is feeling about deciding to get it or not. Personally I think alot of people in the world would have a better understanding of what overweight people and people dealing with weight issues go through from the show.
