Ya'll Come. Saturday, October 22nd at 10 AM - Regency Square Library. Email me and let me know if we can expect you. This will be our first meeting and you'll want to get in on this ground floor meeting so you can grow (only in knowledge...not size) with us in the coming weeks, months and years. I'm pre op for lapband surgery and just got my approval this week. I'll be banded on November 7th at noon. But this meeting is open to all WLS patients, no matter the procedure. Friends and family are welcome as are pre ops and people who are interested or just curious. So, email me and let me know you'll be there. I'm doing this as much for me as anybody else because a once a month meeting isn't enough for me. So, see you Saturday? La Wanda

I will try and get there. That is my 1 yr anniversary since surgery. My car is broke down at this time, but, I will try my darndest. Where is the Regency sq library? Compared to the mall?

Judith....If you come down Monument Road (which is between the mall and the Car Spa on Atlantic Blvd.), the next light you come to, turn right (the Burger King will be on your left). Follow it to the dead end where the library is. Tell me what part of town you live on. Email me at [email protected] and let me know. Please don't post it here. Maybe someone can give you a ride. I'll be happy to check with the others and see if anybody lives near you and will be coming from that direction to the meeting. Thanks for the response. Hope to see you soon. La Wanda, I can't make that one. There is a Kidzfest at our church that morning and I have a wedding to attend that evening. Have lots of fun and see you next time! Terri
