IM having a BABY!!!!
Heather,
1st Congradulations !!!!!
Now take your vitamins, drink lots of water, exercise early on (including kegals) listen to your body and get plenty of rest. Don't over do it. Spend lots of time with hubby since you won't get much after the baby comes. A vacation at about 4 -5 months is perfect!
Sooooo happy for you!!
Terri
Congratulations!!!!!! I know about having babies, but not after weight loss surgery! I would think that increasing the vitamins, and eating a certain number of calories would be important so that baby has good things to grow on and doesn't leach them from your bones or body. Keep us posted! When are you due?
Blessings,
Tami
Congratulations. I hope everything goes well and you have a trouble free pregancy
I would talk to your surgeon and find out if you need a high risk ob and ask about a nutritionist familiar with the needs of post-op pregancy, your nutritional needs may be very different now. Did you have the RNY? There is a malabsorbtion factor to consider with the RNY, so they will probably need to monitor your labs and diet very closely.
