Well the good news is that since having to go off of depo my periods have become regular...the bad news is my periods are regular which means it will be on time and I will be on it for surgery on Tuesday a surgery which will entail them pumping me full of more blood thinners than they do for WLS. I know, I know...the nurses deal with it all the time and there is nothing I can do but let them know. But it still bothers me....escpecially since they will be working in my groin area to put the catherters to my heart.

I hear you Sarah Margaret.....its just annoying! hugs. I pray God's hand of peace and protection on you Thursday. May you sense His presence and His hand upon your doc and nurses caring for you. blessings, Tami

If it makes you feel any better I was on my period during my surgery also. It is embarassing I know but I managed. I also was on my period during a procedure last year to remove a kidney stone. I was mortified, because naturally all of the work was going on in that area. lol

Thank heaven...maybe all this stress is a good thing...I started today...early...so by next Tuesday it should be finishing up and very light although all the blood thinners will change that I'm sure, but it won't be as bad.

Yikes!! Girl, my prayers are with you as you go through (another) surgery. I am facing a tonsillectomy pretty soon and don't look forward to thta..but if we want to get better we must go through this. Now think of the good stuff and don't fret about the nurses and doc do all the time..I'm sure they know their way around that stuff...but you might even be done - so RELAX!!! Hugs!
