Revision?

I am seeking a revision from the RNY I had 6 1/2 yrs ago. I lost almost 100 lbs and now have regained 100 lbs, Dr. Sttd that I did have a couple problems. Enlarged stoma and one part of the intestine is too short and I do not have any malasorbtion. Any one here have revision? Dr. mentioned putting and fiber mesh or ring around the revisied stomach to keep from the stoma opening up again. Seeking doctor outside the country because of the cost. Any advise? Any lapband over the RNY here? Thanks, Brenda

Brenda, I heard at our support group meeting on Saturday that some docs in Jacksonville are doing these revisions. I don't know any of the people who have had it done but maybe LaWanda can put you in touch with someone who has. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Kat

Choosing someone outside the US is kinda scary personally speaking - not to say that it won't be successful. Give some locals docs a try...check out information. Is it that you don't have insurance?? Do you have medicare? Well I have good news..but I will post a private email to you about it.. Good luck
