Dr. Bruce Brient in Gainesville Florida?

Hi everyone I am a new WLS candidate and I am looking for a great surgeon and I am wondering if anyone on this board can tell me about him or anyone else in the Gainesville area. I am actually from Valdosta Georgia but this is the closest Bariatric Center to me that accepts Aenta Insurance. Thanks for the info! God Bless, Katina Rye

Dr. B is my surgeon and I think he is phenomenal! He has a wonderful record and is just the nicest person you'll ever meet. His staff is wonderful too. I had a few complications... not anyones fault... but I was amazed at how much Dr. B was concerned for me and I even had his personal cell phone number. He is the best doctor I have ever had in any field of medicine. He IS there for his patients. Ask him for his surgey stats. He makes no bones about telling them. Dear Sallykate, I am looking into wls and hit a brick wall when I asked my primary care doctor about this. I think I am in your area and was wondering if you could recommend a primary care md that was open to this type of surgery? Thank you, Kary

Dr. B is my surgeon and is THE BEST! He has AWESOME stats and has been doing this for years! You won't find another surgeon with a better bedside manner and he's someone who truly cares about you. He's excited for you and you dont' find that too often. He's truly the best! His office staff is great too and he has a nutrionist on staff and you meet with here every time you have an appointment with him. Great aftercare, I just can't say enough good things about him! I got my first packet today and it has another Surgeon by the name of Dr. Hipp that I think is in the same practice as Dr. B but I don't know anything about him. Dr. B sounds so great though!
