Terri,
Hey lady! It was so nice to finally get to meet you today! I would have loved to have been able to go to lunch with you and Barbara but my 8yo was in the library with my niece and nephew and he has been having some behavior problems lately. (The boy just can't seem to listen or else the message doesn't make it from his ears to his brain LOL!). Maybe next time! Thanks again for the cards. I actually have a letter that I wrote to you and never got it in the mail but it was written before Christmas. I am going to suprise you though and go get some note cards and send you a few. I promise!
Take care and hope to see you again soon!

P.S. The lady that came in real late and was sitting at the table closest to the door is my baby sister Cindy. Remember I told you I thought you two were about the same age and went to AJ at the about the same time...I think you graduated a year ahead of her. Our last name was Rowe in high school.
Hey!
You know what I asked Cindy this evening what year she graduated and now I can't even remember! What's up with my brain? I think she said that you aren't as old as she so she may have gtraduated in 84. I will ask her again tomorrow. She is supposed to come over tomorrow night to watch the Superbowl. That's if she goes home first. LOL! It is 3:25 Sunday morning and she is asleep in my recliner. I tried to wake her up because I knew she wanted to go home so she could go to church in the morning (I guess that would be this morning now) but Iwas unseccessful so she is still snoring. Danielle is asleep on the couch and I just chased Reece off the computer and to Max's room to lay down.
My house is always a wreck too. These days I don't have what it takes to clean it properly but Praise the Lord I know that day is coming again!
As far as Max goes I don't know what I am gonna do about him. He has a smart and sassy little mouth. I don't remember if I told you that he is really my nephew but he has been with us since he was about 10 1/2 months old. He was everybodys cute little boy and my older kids helped spoil him rotten. They would take him to ball games at school and we took him to their band competitions. The girls would always take him shopping with them and many times took him to the beach or St. Augustine just to take pictures of him. Man I think we created a monster. Now I have to find a way to fix it. HUMMMM...
Well better get going and get in the bed. I am really tired and I took my pain pill for my knees and my anti-inflammatory a while ago my head is telling me it's about time to find my bed now. You take care and I will see you in a couple of weeks!

Terri,
You are right about that. To me he is mine but sometimes when he is angry with me he reminds me that I am not his mama. He hasn't seen his birth mama but I think 4 times since he came to us and the last time I think he was 3 and she watched him ride his bike. I have to brag here like a proud mama that he was riding his bike without training wheels before he turned 3! He is one of the biggest reasons I started thnking about this surgery again. I want to be able to go places and do things with him like I always did my own kids. My daughter Ashli and I traveled all over the place with the Arlington Middle school & Terry Parker Bands. We have had a blast together and I want to be able to do the same with Max. I also don't want him being ashamed of me because of my size. You know how kids pick on other kids. I know my Mom was very large and other kids always said ugly things about her that hurt my feelings.
Well gonna run! See ya soon
Kat
