Hey Alexa! I'm going to try to make that meeting. I'm definitely going to make one before I get much further along. I've got nutritionist appts through May, so I've got quite awhile yet 
I really liked Dr R, though some of the things he's said have discouraged me about the LapBand. That 20-25% removal rate did freak me out a bit. I really didn't want to do the RNY, but that may be what I end up doing. I don't want to go through surgery, just to have to go in again to get the band removed, or not have significant weight loss, etc. I'd really like to do that sleeve procedure, but, of course, Aetna won't cover it.
The earliest I'd be having my surgery would probably be mid-July. That's not too far away tho
