Frustration

So, as most of you know, I have had my date and approval for about a week now. Thats great, I'm happy. However, something else is holding me back. I can't seem to get my Psychiatrist to fax over my evaluation!! I have had to leave a message for him directly at this point, and am waiting on a return call. The people in the office have no idea whats going on with this and I'm really getting mad. Odalys can't even get an answer out of them! I'm seriously considering just going up to Ocala for the day to use their shrink. It just makes me mad because I've already been thru it, I shouldn't have to do it again! UGH!

It almost makes you want to drive to the office and pick up the report yourself. Hope it gets faxed soon. Priscilla -102 lbs 8/15/05

Ya know, the thought crossed my mind. I'm going to call again tomorrow, if he hasn't return my call by noon, and I'm going to ask for the Office Manager. The appointment was 3 weeks ago! There should be no reason for this kind of hold up! ya know?

I agree that you should go there and demand the report ( not in any kind of crazy way that he may tell your surgeon LOL). You do have a right to the report and they are holding up a major procedure. Go get em'!!!

The most common hold up besides insurance approval seems to be getting the Psychiatrist to finish their paperwork. I've read profiles where people have waited months. Stay on 'em.
