Sallykate checking in!
Hi there FL friends!
Long time no see... Kim emailed me and told me that Miss Red was checking on me so I thought I would pop in. (ty Miss Red!
)
I am doing MUCH better! Eating and drinking like the rest of you... what a relief. I have not had much to post as I have not been losing.
I am not sure why. I have been a good girl but I have been on a plateau for 2.5 months! I weighed this morning however and the scale has moved. hip hip hooray! I am at a total loss of 71lbs. in 4 months and 2 weeks. Did I hope for more at this far out? YES! Have I been discouraged? YES (but only in the past two weeks) Am I happy with the results? YES!! Though I have been frustrated with losing and gaining the same 5 pounds for the past 2 months, I am thrilled with the loss that I have been blessed with. I am walking! WALKING! Hubby and I took our 4 kids to the Jacksonville Zoo on a homeschool field trip and I walked for 4 hours straight! NEVER in a million years could I do that before. I had to use a wheel chair for everything. I am praying that my plateau is broken as of this morning, being that I am a pound lower than ever before. (fingers, toes and eyes crossed!)
Life for me is busier than ever and I do try and pop in to lur****asionaly... Some of you guys just amaze me. Your progress is tremendous and so inspiring. Amy s. I just looked at your pic trail. AWESOME GIRL!
Greeneyze... You look fab! Those are the two that I have seen today but so many of you are rockin and rollin! I aim to join you in your success. I am really focusing on my "head" issues and ha*****anges while I have been stuck. Thankfully, I can see results there.
Hugs to you all!

Hi SallyKate!
It is so good to hear from you! I have been wondering how you were doing? I am still working on that weight loss for the heart cath. I haven't weighed since Jan. 29th though so I need to go do it. Hopefully it will motivate me a little. I think I am just really bored right now.
I am happy that you are up and walking around since your surgery. Noone knows how awful it can be to not be able to do things on your own until they have been there. I am glad that your weight loss has given you back your mobility.
Take care and let us hear from you more often!

Hi there Miss Kat!
Glad to hear you are chugging away at losing the weight for the heart cath.!
You are so right and I know that you understand about mobility. It is amazing to do things again. I am planning my garden for this year and I can't wait! I plan to be outside alot this summer (Lord willing!) I miss my flowers too and am itching to get into the beds soon and clean em' up.
So glad to hear from you and remember, I'm here and waiting for that surgery date of yours so I can be your angel!
Cheers!

How very sweet of your Miss Red! Your concern means a lot to me. I have missed chatting and hanging out on the boards. It seems I am just so busy these days. My candle business is taking off and hubby and I do a lot of personal counsleing for people at our church(3-4 sometimes 5 nights a week) along with being the worship pastors too. We have a weekly meeting in our home on top of that and I of course homeschool our 4 children. Some months just pick up and get busy more than others. I hope to hang around the board a little more often when I can. I do miss you guys.
Thanx for asking Miss red! Your a sweety.

Hi Miss or I guess that should be Mrs.SallyKate except that here in the south everyone is a Ms or Miss LOL!!! I am so happy to hear from you! Oh I love flowers and used to have some really pretty ones around my mailbox. Shoot I can't think of the name of them right now but they were bright red and the actual flowers were about 3-4 inches and round. Geraniums! That's it!!! They were Geraniums! Hey my mind worked!!! That's a change. Now I only have my Jasmin left that grows on the porch rail. It smells soooo good when it is blooming! I would love to grow some tomatoes, bell peppers and squash but I am just not able to do the work anymore. Maybe in a year or so! I went and weighed today because I knew I was getting into that danger zone where I was being too lax and would be gaining again if I didn't do something to get motivated. I only lost 4 pounds since I weiged last but at least I didn't gain. So now I have 20 lbs. to go!
Gosh lady you are busy! How in the world do you get it all done? Did Kim tell you that we met at LaWanda's meeting?
Believe me you (and probably everyone else in Jacksonville) will know when I get a date! I can't wait!!!
Well gonna run! About bed time for me. Take care my little angel!
