I have a Date!!
Congrats on your date! Mine is March 27th, so I've been doing my last minute shopping.
I don't have alot of suggestions, I've picked up a chewable multi vitamin, some unflavord protien powder, several samples, a sublingual B-12 vitamin, chewable calcium, chewable iron and robes! The robes are for walking around the hospital after surgery. I'm very large, so I had problems finding them. I went to www.lanebryantcatalog.com and they had all the way up to 6x!
Good luck to you!
Amy

Hi Paula
Right after surgery my Dr had me taking Carnation Instant Breakfast...sugar free....for my protein...Its good. But I found Bariatric Eating.com and ordered a sample pack so I could try different ones. As for soups I had cup of soups and low fat cream soups.
I wish you well for your surgery.

Paula,
Your couldm't
have picked a better set of hands to do your surgery. Good luck with all and let us
know how it goes. Most
important I bought was Unjury Protein Powder, Unflavored.
I was able to add it to my protein drinks which gave me double the protein. I stil use it with my drinks 13 months later.
Paula,
Be sure to get some sugar free popcicles & sf Jell-o. You won't need dozens of boxes unless your family will be helping you eat it. I bought waaaay to much and I'm still eating Jell-o I bought over a year ago!! I bought some plastic, 3 oz. "bathroom" cups to make my Jello in. I filled them about 2/3 full (apx. 2 oz) and covered each with Glad Press 'N Seal wrap. They keep a long time without developing that film that Jell-o sometimes gets. I also bought a package of "disposable" plastic baby spoons at Wal-Mart. They can be washed in the dishwasher but are cheap enough that if you forget one at a restaurant, you don't care! I still use my baby spoons & seafood forks to help me take smaller bites and eat more slowly.
Good luck on your journey!
