You can tell it's Spring...

You are right, had tons of family visiting, and then pulling weeds and planting plants, painting the cement on the back porches, and the trim and doors inside, plus the laundry room. All that takes time, and my house is in a continued mess till the floor dries in the last patio. Can't wait for that to be done and get things back to normal around here. Plus working overtime to pay for all these springy projects. Once it gets June, I don't want to weed or do these kinds of projects!!! blessings, Tami

Just finished the last coat of patio paint on the back porch. Now to the task of drying. Of course I have paint all over my body because I am sloppy!! Planted one more plumbago, and some pretty tall magenta plants up front to fill in a hole in thelandscaping. I hope these plants take well. I am tired of all these projects, ready for them to stop. :0 hugs, Tami

I was able to attend 2 arts and crafts festivals this weekend. They were both outside and it was great to get out and take my time to walk around. Maybe we should plan a picnic or something before it gets too hot.

I am just being a lurker lately, I need to speak up more...get this board moving. I did go outside this past weekend and put on my new bathing suit and laid out for a few. It was nice til the pool cleaner thingy sprayed water on me, Kate loved that one. Tracey

Tracey, I bet that Kate did love that!! Jacob loves stuff like that, when somebody gets wet when they were not expecting it. He likes to pretend he is giving me a kiss and then lick my cheek- he laughs so hard about that. 5 is such a fun age!! How old is Kate now? Terri

If you ask her she will tell you she is 16, but actually she will be 4 in May. She is a huge goofball, tonight she called her dad a nerd, which is true . I swear one of my others would lick my cheek too and laugh. Right now I am dealing with the grumpy 13 year old boy and the 7 year old girl that wants to please everyone. I don't know if I am going to survive my son's teenaged years...atleast my daughter sees how he acts and says that the way he acts is wrong. Tracey

Tracey, I am trying to stop laughing.... The 7 year old will get older and have her period and you know how that is and my son is 15- 16 in August and he is still a good kid but my goodness - the attitude!!!! He was always the easiest child ever- everyone loved to babysit him- he would color or sit and watch TV- no bother at all. Now you get the eyes rolling, smart mouth (which he swears he is not "trying" to be smart), tell him 15 times to unload the diswasher, do his homework, feed the dog, fill in the blank... But in his defense - he does not curse, tells me which ones of his friends is smoking or trying drugs and having sex- (thank goodness we have always had a great dialog going on those types of things) and he is fantastic with Jacob. He even kept him over spring break. I better count my blessings huh? Ok I have had to correct my spelling to many times in this note so off to shower and bed. Fun talking to you tonight! Terri

Oh I know she will change...I hope not though, I pray not. Jesse will be 14 in June...and from what you just said about your son, sounds just like mine. He was quiet, not a bother and boom bam! Right now I am dealing with bad grades and his excuse is always I forgot. Well geez I remind him daily of what he needs to do...in one ear out the other. His grades are not as bad as last semester thank god...I caught the forgets early this time. Tonight, I think we had a break thru. He needs to get his tonsils out, but I told him he has to wait til the end of school. But now with his grades he may have to take summer school in order to go to the 9th grade. So if he has to do summer school...he has to wait til after June 30th for the tonsils to be removed, but we were planning on going on vacation for 2 weeks in July and his dad wanted to take him away for another week that month. I feel really bad that he realized tonight that he may mess up the families vacation but maybe this is what he needed. Also I know he don't want to spend 2 weeks out of the only month he will have off recovering from surgery. Oh I count my blessings everyday though...I am glad all I have to worry about him is him forgetting his homework. He is a great kid, but he is PMSing at the moment. Well I am off to bed. Tracey
