Yeah, you can really tell she looks pregnant.
I was standing outside the school at dismissal duty a couple of weeks ago, and my friend Marsha (who also had Lap-Band surgery) yells out at me, "You can really tell, Pami." She was looking at my profile and commenting on the positive effects of my weight loss. A nosy grandma waiting for her grandkid pipes in, "Yeah, you can really tell she looks pregnant." No, Marsha tells the loud mouth lady, she's lost a lot of weight recently. Oh yeah, says the big mouth, you can tell she's been walking a lot. DUH! Open mouth, insert foot!
K I have to say I don't know which is worse your story or mine. I was in a grocery store and this 70ish lady comes over pats my bell and asks when I'm due. I have PCOS and have been trying to get pregnant for 10 years. I fought the urge to rip of her hand and give it to her as a birthday present and instead said. I can't have children but thanks for that now get your had off of me NOW!
When will people learn unless they see a head crowing don't assume someone is pregnant!
