I cracked a joke with my Doctor, PRE-Op

You know how they get you to fill out about a million papers durring pre-op tests? Well I recently turned 18 (legal age) and so I was filling them out, signing this and that and all of a sudden I realized that all these papers "hidden" in the middle were asking me if I wanted to participate in a study on C Difficile (Sp?) I found that hilarious. So when I saw my doctor he asked me if I signed everything and I said "Yup, and I got the advertisements too." LOL he didn't find it funny at all. Infact, he went into a twenty minute speal on why medical tests are important. I still find it hilarious. ;)

In serena's defense: I don't think she was making a joke out of c diff. She thought it was funny how the paper was stuck in the midst of all the others kinda like she would just sign it without reading it. I recall doing stuff like that with my parent's for school papers . . You are right tho, c diff is very serious. Holly

random bit of info: I am a nurse, and at the hospital I work at, for the SEVERE cases of C Dif, we do fecal infusions. Yes, that is a feeding tube down into your small intestines feeding you poo from your friends and family... and they wonder why there's a nursing shortage!
