2 Day Post Op or Oops

I hope I'm not the only one that has done this but, I thought you might get a kick out of it.  My Surgeon Dr. Tom had instructed me due to the gas they use in surgery for the Lap RnY I will have Gas and he wanted me to fart.  Yes he said fart.  So I did not think much about it.  I did think I would have some kind of control though.  The other thing I keep reading and hearing is walk walk walk.  So as soon as I was able I began walking the halls in the hospital.  Well wouldn't you know it I get hit with the Gas attack and I had no control, it just came out.  But it was loud and long.  I was so

embarrassed as we were just passing a visitor I think.  I could not look her in the eyes.  I just repeated what Dr. Tom said.  Farting good.  

Better out than in. just be glad it was just a fart.

Yes....rather than a....."productive" fart!!!

hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahah.  I shouldn't laugh.  I'll be there in 7 weeks.

Better to fart and feel the shame than not to fart and feel the pain....

Just think, at least you were in a hospital!  I'm sure she took pity on you.  I will admit to several embarassing fart moments without the benefit of surgery!
