Topic: Didn't tell them WHAT kind of surgery LOL
I had to take 2 weeks off from school and I told everyone I was having my galbladder removed. LOL they were all comforting me with "It's nothing, my ____ had it removed" "I had it removed" "It doesn't hurt at all" "The scarring is minimal"
Then when my teacher was talking about having her galbladder removed, she came up to me and said "I hope I didn't freak you out, it's honestly nothing to worry about."
I tried not to laugh hysterically! I had my galbladder removed a year ago!!!!

I work in the hospital where my surgery will take place. I ran into one of the surgeons who will be doing my surgery (which is this THURS) and said, "I'll see you on thursday!" He said, "What are you doing on thursday?" I said,"Oh it's not what I'll be doing...I will just be laying there, you will be doing all the work!" He just chuckled and walked off. Then I looked at my buddy the unit secretary for that floor and said, "Did I just say what I think I said?" She said ," YEP".. I said, think he noticed?
She said, OH YEAH he did. I put my RED face in my hands and just shook my head. I'm so glad that the next time I see him....I'll be unconsious.

I've had my ups & downs, I did really good after surgery - I was up & moving in no time. But I guess now the old behaviour starts creeping back. You should check out my profile, I've written alot about it.

How did it go? I bet you did great. I am still in the process of pre-op. I do my testing in August. Hopefully I will get to file soon after my testing. Hope you are doing well
