I just had my surgery on Nov 9, 2004. I was walking the halls the 2nd day after surgery and a lady walked by me smiling, so I said "Hi!" She said, "Did you just have the BARAMETRIC surgery?" I just grinned back and told her "Yes, I did!" I thought it was so funny!

Ilearned something yesterday.because of the 30 lbs I've lost I need body armor to cook without my bra on. My girls hang down so low I burned them reaching over a skillet to stir something. Anybody have any pothholders for boobs?

Topic: Camo Shorts

A couple of months ago I was in Wally World and ran across some camo shorts in a size XL. I bought them and to my surprise the fit better than I thought they would. Well one day the weather was warm so I figured I'd have a camo day and left home with a camo t-shirt and my shorts. Well I went by my wife's beauty shop and she called me to the side and said they were boxers. I asked her what did she mean and she said they had a snap on the fly. I looked and sure enough she was right. I told her I thought it was strange that they had no pockets. So since I was busted already I finished my errands in town and went home. When she got home she laughed and said the nail tech said I looked pretty hot in my shorts. Well blushing I told her yup and if that snap had busted while I was there we really would have seen who was hot and who wasn't.

so i was getting all the refferals and such from my pcp and jokingly i said the only down fall from getting this surgery is next year at all the keg parties, since im going to college, is im going to have to go straight to the hard shtuff instead of beer becasue my stomach is going to be so small and we cant have carbonated stuff :D, lol his eyes popped so far outta their sockets...he thought i was serious :D he also thought i was like 16 instead of 20, lol

Thanks for the laugh....here is my story. I just had a breast lift and reduction. I was showering rinsing off, had my eyes shut when I ran my hand across my chest and felt something there that did not belong, I tried to bru**** off. Boy did I scream..I tried to wipe my newly place nipple off my breast. Takes some getting use to. I lost an Aunt to breast cancer because she missed one mammogram, just one. I tell everyone there is never a good reason not to have yourself checked. Kelly

At our support group, a woman shared this story... She was several months post-op and was doing a self-breast exam. She found a hard area and became very nervous, so she called her doctor right away and made an appointment. Turns out there was indeed a very hard lump - called a rib! She just had never felt it there before

Now, while we all had a good laugh about this - please keep in mind the millions of women who are living with breast cancer. Please offer your prayers for them and get yourself checked!
