About three days after being released from the hospital my 8 year old's best buddy needed a place to stay for a couple of hours while his parents ran an errand. After about 2 hours Zac comes bouncing into the house announcing "Mr. Phillips! I'm H U N G R Y!" and makes his way into my room where he knows I am watching the news. I was laying there with my shirt open, binder off and hanging out when he stops at the end of the bed, rests his head on his arms and stares at my staples. "What do you think you would like" I ask. After a long stare and pause he says, "I'm not hungry anymore Mr. Phillips." Kids, you know I love'm.

OK, here I am sitting on the floor with my gorgeous honest 7 year old son. My arm is sorta up on the couch as we are watching TV. He looks at ALL the extra skin under my arms and says, MOM, whats that there for? I told him its from Mommy losing alot of weight..."Maybe you should gain some back so your arms aren't so jiggly!".... All i could say was OH NO , we aren't doing that and mom's arm are ok... Out of the mouths of babes, sheeesh...

I have a very good friend that works as supervisor at our local post office and by now the post office DOES know. Not to say that she has a big mouth or anything LOL

Well, honey....you need to get an updated pic! After all the great progress you've made, I'm sure everyone would be inspired by seeing a current pic of you too!
