I have been ordering samples of protein from various websites to try. It seems like a new box arrives daily. My naive nine year old asked me yesterday: "How does the post office know you are having surgery??" I guess that means he doesn't realize mommy is a internet shop-aholic!

On the day of my surgery, I was being taken from the recovery room to my room on another floor. My bed was being rolled out of the elevator when for some strange reason (which the nurses said they had never seen happen) the wheels of the bed turned sideways and slipped down into the opening/gap where the door opens. The bed and I dropped down about four inches. I screamed with pain because of my 12 in*****ision in my gut. To say the least, it WAS NOT a good feeling. The nurses had to call the maintenance department who then had to get a hydraulic pump to lift the bed out of the hole and get me out of the elevator. By the time I got back to my room, I was begging for pain medication. I was told it was change of shifts and it would be awhile before I could get some pain meds. The nurses stated they had to count the narcotics before I could be given any pain medication. I told them to just "PICK A NUMBER" and bring me some pain medication!! Everyone in the room started rolling.

OMG! I can just imagine his face....it had to have been a Kodak moment. ty for the crackup!
