Question for pre-ops/new post ops
As one of the "old gang" now since I'm 24 months post op I was wondering if you'd benefit from a "meet-n-greet" that would be mostly for you guys to do a question.answer session to some of the older by-pass paitents with any "real" curiousities that you may have about how things change when you're further out. This can include some of the plastic surgeries questions or the real "eating" issues that come about further out, exercise etc...sometimes actually hearing it from the horses mouth can make a difference in life.
Give me your feed back and I'll figure out how we can hande this be it in a chat night or a dinner night or something.
Thanks!

I think that's a great idea! I am 4 years post op scheduled to have a TT TODAY, YES TODAY IT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO low iron, anemia, and having trouble finding a competent WLS friendly PCP in Atlanta for post-op care, and could definitely share some stories with the newbies!

Great Idea Dee Dee, I for one think we dont utilize the chat feature of the GA board near enough. I think we could all benefit from scheduling open chats from time to time since we are all at different points in our journey we could definitely benefit from other members who have walked in our shoes.
Btw, had a blast at Wild Bills last Saturday night! When we going back??
