That I have lost tooooooo much weight. I still have 6 pound to go to get to Dr. Duncans goal for me, but I HAVE lost to much. I went to him yesterday after I had an appt with my psychologist, because I knew my meds for depression had to be changed, due to I only take them when I'm on EDGE, because they make me sick. He switched me to 150mg wellbutrin, from 75mg effexor, so I hope this works, because I am literally going CRAZY these days. My daughters ADHD has gotten out of control, she has started pitching hilasious(sp) fits/rages and throwing things @ us. Her psychiatrist, did not want to upp her meds (20mg focalin xr) ,but instead he split it 10mg @ 7 a.m. and 10 mg @ 12 p.m..............WELL that didn't work, only made it worse. Wednesday she got in ttrouble at school and had to move her clip ( 1st time since diagnosed with ADHD 3 years ago) and started crying and refused to get on the bus she was so upset. They called and ask me "Do you want us to force you on the bus, or you pick her up?" I told them I'd come get her as if they forced her she'd be kicking and screaming and we didn't need it any worse than it already is. At that point I went to her Pediatric Dr. and told him I needed help, because I had made her an appt. with a child psychologist in Griffin on Sept. 26, but I didn't think she could last until then, so he upped he Focalin to 15 mg @ 7 and 10 mg @ 12. She is VERY impulsive and does thing without realizing the actions afterwards and all this has almost drove me INSANE. I even had my Dr. prescribe me a low dose xanex until the wellbutrin kicks in. He also gave me a steriod shot because I have HORRIBLE bags under my eyes and he said it was due to allergies, plus did all my bloodwork as I told him I think I'm getting Iron deffciant, because of Dr. Grybowski taking me off my mutilvitamin w/ Iron almost 4 weeks ago, so we'll see. So if any of you have her that Buckcherry song " Crazy Bi*ch" that's me right about now, LOL Can't wait to see you all next weekend........

Hi sorry about the problems with your daughter. My daughter who is 11 now was diagnosed with ADHD 5 years ago. I know kids react different with meds but I tried Focalin with her first and it was terrible she had severe fits and mood swings and often spoke of dying or death. I took her off and her Doc put her on Adderall and she is a totally different child. Just an idea because the Doc said you have to play around untill you find the right med when it comes to ADHD. Anyway Congrats on your weight loss and good luck. Angie

OMG you have hit the nail on the head. She has really bad fits/rages, sometimes 2 and 3 a day. Today she was also emotional all day, moody as well. She started crying when I told her that she had to go to school tomorrow. I said why are you crying, she said because you didn't tell me(up until today) that I have to go tomorrow and she HAS NEVER done that before. She was at her best when she was on Metadate CD, I believe I'm going to see if they will put her back on it but upped the dose, because she wasn't on the max daily dosage when she was switched. Thanks Melissa

Hey Melissa, I know you know my story with my son. All the ups and downs, hospitalizations, medications, kicked out of daycares and schools, etc, etc.... Thank God that right now we are in a fairly good place, meds working most of the time. But I'm right there with ya girl... don't feel alone. Better days will come, unfortunately so will worse ones. I keep trying to tell myself, that what doesn't kill me will make me stronger. Can't wait to see you either next weekend Hugs, Susan

Thanks Susan, my mother told me that God doesn't put more than we can handle on us. I'm unsure about that at this point because I can't handle this for sure. I just wished there were support groups(local) out here for parents of kids with ADHD, instead of groups on the pc. I feel I would get better outcome if I had a local support group to attend. Can't wait to see you next weekend either Melissa
