Henry Co WLS Support Group

Good morning, everyone. I just wanted to remind you all about the SouthSide WLS Support Group in Stockbridge, GA. The first meeting will be Tuesday, September 26th from 6:30p-7:30p at Henry Medical Center. The following meetings will be the last Tuesday of every month. The address for the hospital is 1133 Eagles Landing Parkway Stockbridge, GA 30281 We will meet in the Foundation/Education Center in classroom C. This first couple of meetings will be a get to know you type of meeting and to find out how to best facilitate the meetings. Please know that HMC does not perform this surgery nor is it advocating the surgery. They are simply providing us with a meeting space. Also, this group is not associated with any surgeon's office or medical group. It is just a place for us to get together, talk and hopefully learn from each other. Also, I will be facilitating the meeting...I am also not necessarily an advocate of the surgery...it has been a great thing for me, but it is a VERY PERSONAL decision. I am so excited that there will be a group so close to me... I work right across the street! I have an item for your first meeting... Pray for me. My surgery is scheduled for 9/26 and I am hoping everything goes well. I cannot wait to see you all at the October meeting!
