Are there any VSG's in Georgia?

I have a couple of questions before my surgery and wondered if anyone who has had the VSG could help. 1.  Will my hunger finally go away and stay away? 2.  Will I still have cravings? Thank you for all the great posts on this forum.  You are helping us Newbies feel so much better about our decision!

VSG on 07/17/07 with

Hey,

I was just visiting from the VSG board when I happened to see your post here.  I had my VSG on July 17, 2007, and since have lost about 40 pounds.

For me, I havent been hungry since the day of surgery.  I eat because I know I should, and it helps to make better decisions about what I eat.

As far as cravings, I dont think that any surgery can really help with that.  I dont get HUNGRY, but that doesn't take away my head hunger.  If I see a piece of cake, part of me still wants it.  Conquering cravings is something you have to do for yourself.  The tiny tummy is an extremely helpful tool, but it's definately not an easy way out.

I encourage you to check out the VSG board.  There's a ton of helpful information there.  I lurked around on that board for months before deciding to get my VSG.
