Hey girlie,

I am so sorry you are having these problems. I too had many problems with my surgical coordinator JACKEY OTEY...oh my GOD she was awful. She is the most ignorant cruel woman that ever lived. BUT....I promise, they do get the job done and then you NEVER have to deal with those dumb woman again. The rest of the staff has been wonderful and caring...I absolutely adore Dr. Hobson, he did a great job. Hang in there and know that it is NOT YOU...it is them. I have you in my prayers and I can't wait till you are on the losing side with me!!!! Sending hugs your way

Thank you for the prayers and yes Jackie is my surgical coordinator also I have heard others say she is had to deal with. She needs to realize I am determine to have this surgery and if I have to I will fill her answering machine with nothing but my voice and eventually she'll get the message that I want answers. I thought about just giving up but I thought long and hard and decided I couldn't I need to try and improve my health and will let no one stand in my way.

Glad to hear it improves once you get past her, again thank you. I can't wait to join you on the losng side.

I just went in for my 9month post-op with them this week...and I remember last year feeling just like you do ....the office SUCKS ...but Dr. Hobson is so wonderful I put up with it......I did finally have to go up there and turn in my paper work in person and talk to them and make sure everything was there....lol ....I dont think they were expecting that...but I would not leave until I saw some one in person....and I dont live in atlanta so it was a little bit of a drive....good luck.

Hi, I am having the same porblems that you are having trying to just get a response from someone at their office. I am very frustrated also. I have even contacted the office manager Shona & have had difficultly getting her to respond. Just hang in there, you are not alone.

My dr. was Dr. Duncan.  I like him.

I totally agree about the office staff.  But unless you tell the DR. nothing will really change. 

I have every intention of telling him on my first follow up appt.

You hit the nail on the head about never returning calls, responding to emails.
 

Now my problem is my paperwork has not being scanned.  I have called been on hold for many min. and nothing.  I have decided to go back to all of my dr. pcp, cardologis psy, and get all of the papers and send them certified mail or take them myself to their office.  It is frustrating but... we have to do what we have to do.. i will complaint not to the office mananger but as soon as I see the dr.

So what went wrong with your surgery?

My surgery was at the Atlanta Aesthetic Center.

My only complaint- I went home the same day and that was WAY to much.

However, my scars look incredible.   He did a great job.  Usually when the physician is finished operating, someone else sews you back up.  He actually did mine.
