RNY Revision to Lap Band or DS - Which is better?? Please Help!!
Hi!
I had RNY 8 years ago, lost 86 pounds, but never reached goal - far from it, and have lately gained some weight back. I also have had anemia, and had a metabolic test that showed my metabolism is extremely slow. I have Aetna and am trying to figure out which procedure is best - Lap Band or DS?? I also need help finding a good doctor ... Please help!!
Thanks!

I am not an expert by any means but It may be better to go to the DS forum and RNY to get some feed back. I have not had any WLS as of yet. I hope in the next 30-45 days I will be on my way though. Anywho.... In the beging I wanted RNY and now after researching WLS Ithink this the surgery for me. I still have some doubts about WLS period but I've been trying for this long with very little results so why not give this a try. But back to the subject at hand again such the boards on revison and DS or RNY forums. Good luck!

That's what my seminar was all about (the one I talk about on my OH Profile blog).
I'll be happy to talk/email with you privately after you've had a chance to read what I'm talking about.

Half of my coaching clients are WLS patients who have begun to GAIN BACK what they lost in the first year post-op.
