Wow wow wow! I'm so happy for you both! I know you've had a rough time with men Tonya, and I'm so happy for you that you have found someone who loves and appreciates you! Congrats! For some reason, and it's probably your news, I came to the GA Board today. I normally just read the main board...I'm a lurker. I also noticed you're from Warner Robins also. I, too, have news...my daughter got an engagement ring too. She's still in college and will marry when she graduates in May of 06. Again, congratulations and best wishes. Debbie

Do you attend a local support group? Have you heard of Minimees? There is a meeting tonight at the Flint Elec. Bldg off of 96 at 7:00...doors open at 6:30. Would love to meet you! Tonya

No I don't attend any groups, and I would love to come, but I bowl on Tuesday Nights. The league will be finished the end of April, so I plan on attending the meetings after that. And yes, I have heard of the Minimees...do they meet any other time except for Tuesdays? I may have to forego one Tuesday night and come anyway. Would love to meet local people that I can actually, in person, relate to. I know of only one other person who had WLS and I know she gets tired of me asking so many questions. Again, congrats on the engagement!
