Vitamin Question???

Hey: I am just starting to take my vitamins again post op. Can someone (particular Smith/Khaitan/Lin patients) tell me how many vitamins a day I am suppose to take? Pre op I was taking one Flinstones chewable complete, but in the post op literature it says something like "take your vitamins spaced out all day long with your meals", so does that mean 3 Flinstones a day? One with each meal? Or I am just suppose to take the one with any meal? Kelly S

My surgeon had us taking 4 Flintstones vitamins a day. Now I am just taking 2 Centrum Chewables a day. Also, 100mg of B1, 500mcg B-12, 500mg of C, and also a B complex. Patti

Kelly, I am fresh out post op Feb 16, 2005 Dr Khaitan. I take 2 flinstones in the morning, than the viativ later in the afternoon and my iron pill she has me on in the evening. I don't know what else i need to take if there was something else I don't know about it. I know she said she would probably subscribe B12 at my 1 month visit. Oh, I also suck on a cold eeze for zinc, she told me to do that. Denise D Duluth
