Thanks to all of you for the calls and emails and support. I'm doing great. After I stopped the dry heaves from the anesthesia, I felt much better. Got home Tuesday at 2:00 and have got a great support coach from hubby. Its hard getting in my water to stay hydrated, but i'm doing it-I'm never NOT full feeling-I've tried a couple spoons of yogurt which stayed down well as well as about 1/3 cup of my protein shake. I over do it sometimes when i'm feeling good and then get real tired real fast, which is frustrating-- but I'll get over that. This was a bit tougher than my gall bladder surgery -- maybe because i was so sick from anesthesia this time-- who knows. I'm just glad I'm doing so well now. Thanks again. Post later- Call if you want.....Lisa

Dear Lisa, Welcome to the "losing side"!!! Someone told me that going under full anesthesia hits your body like the equivalent of "a 2-week bender." I've never had a bender of any duration, but that did impress me in terms of being extra gentle with myself. Also, neurologically, we may think we're back to normal, but in terms of driving a car, for instance, our ability to make effective, split-second decisions to avoid collissions is no where near where it needs to be for about 2 weeks! Just 'cause they hustle us out the hospital door doesn't mean your body did not undergo MAJOR manhandling of your innards!! EZ does it works best. Lovingly, Lauralyn

Lisa, Glad to know you're "on the other side of surgery." I hope you feel better and better as time goes on. I really enjoyed meeting you at Joe's Crabshack and wondered recently how you were doing. Enjoy your summer as you begin to shrink! Sandy
