Hey Beth, I am using centrum silver chewables (the silver because they make them in a chewable form ). I bought rexall brand b12 (sublingual) at wal-mart and calcium citrate in the equate brand. I'm 4 weeks postop and only taking the chewable. The calcium and b12 have not been recomended by my doc yet but I know they are coming so I went ahead and bought them. My doc actually recomend flintstones chewables but they are loaded with sugar so I chose the centrum. One of the biggest things so far (besides the awful 24 hour a day nausea) has been staying hydrated. Plain water was very difficult for me at first so I drank watered down cherry or cranberry apple from juicey juice. They have no sugar added. Also, sugar free popsicles. A lot of folks say they needed chap stick so I bought 2 tubes of the soft lips and can count on one hand how often I needed it. I was able to let a few ice chips melt in my mouth every hour as soon as I was back in my room so the dry mouth wasn't a problem for me. I also tried the Atkins protein shakes but not until a few weeks out. They were tolerable but I now get my protein from yogurt and milk. If there is anyway I can help you please just ask. Love, Barb
