I want to thank you guys for all your support this is my second trip down this road, I was approved back in 2003 , but was talked out of it by my friends and family, but this time I prayed harder and kept my big fat mouth shut!! It almost got scary when I found out that the surgery will not be available to me and my colleagues after 07/01/05. But I got approved and a surgery date right before the cutoff. I feel so blessed! Here I go asking for more help.....does anyone have any last minute hospital advice for me??

You'll do great... no problem.... Let's see... shoes that you can slip on without bending over.... Chapstick... A robe so you don't end up with men following you around on your walks...

Thanks for the information Sandra. Right now being told to show up at 5:30a to the Atlanta Medical Center. I was also told that someone will call the day b4 surgery from Dr. Duncan's office to tell me what time I am scheduled. So I will post the information when I find out. Thanks again!! Caren

Hi Caren I did not need a robe since I had an IV and wasn't able to put it on. I just used another hospital gown put on the other way. Make sure you have something for dry lips such as chapstick. good luck and God be with you. Tina N 289/280/174/150ish
