This waiting is driving me to the brink!!!
I know I need to be patient. I just want to know how long it "usually" takes to hear from the insurance company. I am also having a revision from a banding (Not a VGB a different procedure). I know we all have different insurance, but what is a reasonable amount of time? Should I start bugging them? I have BCBS. I am running out of diversions.....lol

I have heard/read from other BCBS patients that you have to wait anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Usually, if you start calling them to check on the status of the claim, they will tell you that they won't know anything until a certain date - call a couple days before that date & call that day. It never hurts to keep calling! They have been pretty good about being on time with their decisions. My approval took 12 days.
