Has anyone had the lap band procedure

I am currently researching the lap band procedure and would really like some feedback from people in my state. I have not had very much luck with members in GA. Please let me know if you have had this procedure and all info you can offer. I have chatted with people from other states and they are super excited about it. Thanks so much in advance for any help you might give.

Amanda,most people on this site have had the bypass or going to have it.I do know you can go to the left in the blue and go to a site for lapband,you can also go to bariatric surgeans and look at testimonals from people,hope that helps ,shelly

Amanda, I had the lap band procedure on March 11, 2005. Dr. Peter Henderson in Brunswick did my surgery. This was one of the best decisions I ever made! My husband had lap band surgery August 16th. Check out Dr. Henderson's website at www.wlsatgoldenisles.com for more information. Joy W.
