That's great news, you will soon be one of us in no time. Make sure you comply in getting all your test done before surgery & start now eating smaller portions & drink only water. No sodas, carbonated drinks, etc. You will have to start doing this anyway so why not start now. You will have to lose some weight before surgery so start out by cutting out all fried foods, eat lots of salads, tuna, & fish. Start using a saucer or childs plate to eat your meals off of. This will make your plate look full and you will not over eat. Eat yogurt for breakfast, small salads for lunch & salad w/tuna or fish for dinner plus drink lots of water, I lost 24lbs before surgery by doing this. Drink 1% or skim milk, it helps you lose weight. Take care & welcome to our side of the world.

Thank You Karen, I have already started eating lighter, (Salads, Yogurt, Tuna) I have never been addicted to carbonated drinks, so when I went to his seminar in June, I stopped that, also I do NO fried foods at all, plus I have cut out my sugar and do crystal light, so I think I'll be ok, hopefully, lol. I am sooooooooo hoping for a middle to end of Oct date, we'll see. It feels great to know that I have sooooooooo much support from every one, even tho I haven't met face to face, I feel like I know so many.
