Praise for Sherry who ran in Chicago Marathon

Congrats Sherry! I know you were in Chicago this weekend to participate in the Chicago Marathon, and I hope you made it through injury free!! As one t-shirt at the Expo said "To Hell and Back - 26.2 miles" - my husband said that was a pretty accurate description! However, the weather wasn't too bad! Did you, by chance, meet your training group at the Palmer House Hilton before the race? I saw a young lady in the lobby with a shirt on that mentioned her previous weight, and I wondered it that was you. If it was, please know that I saw you and wanted to say hello, but I would have been really embarassed if it wasn't you! I'm proud of you! Hugs, Ginger

THAT WAS ME!!!! Did you run or your hubby? I ran with the Get-Fit Atlanta group that runs on the silver comet. IT was really funny about the shirt. I got a lot of comments about it along the journey. Half of them congratulated me and the other hald asked if I REALLY weighed that much lmao.

Ah man! I told my husband I thought it was you. I really wanted to go up and introduce myself to you. Oh well. Please know I was cheering for you all the way! I didn't run, but I was very inspired by everyone who did. Dear hubby ran with his group from Jeff Galloway. I hopped on trains and traveled across Chicago to cheer everybody on. Again, congrats on your accomplishment! I stand in awe of you and your accomplishment!

I ran with Get-Fit, but I do the Galloway thing on my own...how did he like the Galloway program? They have a winter one starting in Gwinnett for a spring marathon. I am considering it if I don't get plastics this winter. How did he run his intervals? What pace was he able to do?
