Gatherings

How often do you guys get together? Are they always in the same place? I'd love to come to a get together, but I live on the northeast side of town. I'd have to pack my lunch and leave a day early to get to Newnan by 5:45.

Hi Rose, We normally get together once a month, and it's in a different location every month. I hosted it in October, in Duluth...not so far from you. Basically, if you want it in YOUR area, offer to host one at a restaurant nearby. It's not a TON of trouble, and then you are assured you get to have it in YOUR neck of the woods! LOL! Hey Rose Norma and I have been toying with the idea of hosting one in the ******* area. Norma is swamped for taxes, so we were thinking about late April, early May. Hope you can get to one sooner than that I did have one in Gainesville last year, but I think it was too far for most to travel so we did not have a large turnout. But if you want to host one...go for it !

Hi Rose, I know what you mean about have to pack a lunch and travel.... I live in Macon, and most of the get togethers are in or around the greater Atlanta area. Makes for quite a trek, but I always try to make them cause they are so much fun. I have hosted one in Macon this year, and someone else did early on. Hope you get to make one soon. Hugs, Susan

Does anyone ever have any gatherings in southern Ga.? I live in Savannah and would love to meet people down in this area. thanks terri
