GB update ...Not good

Well i went today for a ultrasound and the tech said everything looks fine ...WTF i dont get it ...i am nasusse all the time and i have pain in my right side and a constant taste of acid in my mouth but i dont feel like i have acid reflux or anything like that ....I dont get it ...I mean i dont want surgery but i also dont want to be going to the doc all the time trying to figuer this out ....I know it has to be my GB ....Now they did some labs on me yesterday so thouse are not back yet ...hopefully they will show something ...or the doc will know something the tech dosen't .....Any advice or things to keep me from freaking out right about now ?? The tech said she thought I was having kidney problems when in fact it was slugde on the outside of the gall bladder....NOT the kidney. Don't listen to the techs....they're NOT doctors..... Wait for what the doctor says..... Just my two cents Dee Dee

Laura, I know how you must feel about wanting to find out as to what's going on to be able to fix it instead of just going back and force to Drs' offices and not be able to find anything. I agree with Dee though: don't listen to the Tech....They are NOT MD...even if they pretend to talk like one..) Best of luck to you with resolving this. Rita

Laura, Is the pain before or after you eat or just anytime? I occasionally (often) have pain right below my breast bone down into my stomach. I also thought it was my gallbladder or an ulcer. I traveled back to Birmingham to my doc, he did 2 gb ultrasounds, egd, and hida scan (to test gb function) and everything came back ok. I too still think it is my gb. It makes me bellyover sometimes but usually goes away in a couple of hours. I have heard that it could be an ulcer too but the egd doc said my stomach looks perfect. I think that the gallbladder can be tricky. I have also heard that mid back pain can also be a sign of gb problems. I hope that you find out what it is. Try to take Pepcid complete chewables or Nexium, they seem to help. Also try to go back to a bland diet. May God bless you. Georgina

well for a week it was pain right after i would eat ...And then it went away but i had a constant nagging upset stomach ...So i have not clue ...I know my mom had a ulser in her intestents ..and they really never found it ..They just went in looking for something and got it ....so i am praying that will not be it ....But i do call the doc today to see if he got the labs results back .....so we will see ...I will keep everyone updated !!!
