Looking for a Support Group Meeting................

Hello everyone, As you know I have been approved for my surgery and I'm hoping for a surgery date of February 10th (crossing fingers). I was told that Dr. Duncan requires you to attend a support group meeting prior to surgery. The problem is I can't seem to find a meeting in/near my area. I live in Paulding county but I am willing to travel to Polk, Douglas, Carroll, Cobb (Marrietta), or Floyd (Rome) counties if need be. Also, does anyone know if AMC is having any meetings this month. If all else fails I will take the 1hr drive there. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.... Thanks in advance, D. Daniels

I go to the North Fulton Bara. Center support group. It is held every 1st Tuesday of the month. The next on is Feb 7th. Virgina Rock is the coordinator. She is great! The thing that most appeals to me is that Virgina had the surgery and she understands many of the issues we have. Her email address is [email protected]. You can email her if you want more information about the next meeting. She also works with Dr. Duncan's office so I am sure she will be able to confirm that you are attending that support group for Dr. Duncan's office. Vanessa
