i am 4 weeks post op today, so i stepped on the scale this morning and 30 pounds gone forever! i was so excited to see that i had lost more weight. I can say this has been a real big mind game for me, but i am starting to work out all my struggles. my hardest thing is forgetting that i can't drink 30 minutes before i eat.. so sometimes i don't get to eat w/ my family but i have to pay the price somewhere and if it is missing a meal with my family, then so be it. I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Tammy

Yeah!! I went to my post-op appt yesterday and I have lost 14, but my monthly is here so maybe on my 1 month it will show more. I am still in my same size and my pants look like clown but I can't fit in the next size down yet. Keep trying about the liquids, can't say too much here b/c I cheat too. I have always been a drinker with my meals. Hugs, Heather

good, 14 lbs is good! i have always been a drinker w/ my meals also, it is the hardest thing not to do is drink when i am eating. the funny thing is also.. i used to hate milk, now i like it.. don't ask me, i guess some of my taste buds changed.. we are on the losing side now Heather! Hugs Tammy

Tammy, Congrats on the loss! I am three weeks out and now down 21, I'm hoping to hit the 30 mark (or around there) at a month. I have to ask though, why can't you drink BEFORE you eat? My surgeon told me not to drink 30 minutes AFTER because it will push the food out of the pouch and you will get hungry faster. I am not sure how drinking before could do anything. Of course, it takes me forever to eat anything so if I did that I would never be get any liquids in. Just curious! Hugs, Beth
