I hope all is well. I am in need of a PCP with Kaiser and having difficulty choosing. I had lap band with Dr. Macik 10/09, with great success but was with Aetna. I have switched to Kaiser and need to to choose a PCP, is yours WLS friendly? Can you share? it does not matter location I am willing to drive. Thank you so much.

Now that I've gotten my weight down, it's time to try some of the adventures I've been missing out on. I've been wanting to try ziplining---and they will have a FREE indoor zipline setup at the event. And not to mention FREE scuba lessons (equipment provided), and FREE 5 minute Segway rides. There will also be a rock climbing wall and a Fiery Foods challenge...FREE! I know where I'll be this weekend! There is a nominal admission fee, and Groupon has a great deal expiring Wednesday, Oct 19---$9.00 for two one-day tickets, or $15 for four one-day tickets.
Check out the Groupon deal: www.groupon.com/deals/travel-adventure-show-atlanta

Hope to see you there!

We are doing something a little different this month. When you initially have weight loss surgery you go through so many sizes of clothing. Our regulars wanted to go shopping on a budget. Also, get help with stepping outside of the box in what they usually wear.
We are meeting at the GW Boutique aka the Goodwill on Alpharetta Hwy in Roswell, address below. They get a lot of new clothing that still has the price tags on them.
If you are interested in meeting us we will be there at 6:00 p.m. Please let me know so we can look for you!
Hope you can make it!

I sure missed seeing those that came to the meeting today, I sure could have used some encouragement myself. I am almost at 6 months post op and see my surgeon next week, hope I get a good check up!
Thanks so much to Vickie who led the meeting today! And welcome Cynthia, it was her first meeting with us.
I feel bad that you guys had to leave right at 12:30 and didn't finish your meeting. Hopefully by next month we will have a better place at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, I have all the paperwork in and a nice letter from my surgeon, Dr. McGill to back us up.
Joanne will be having her VSG surgery on Monday, please encourage her. Joanne, please keep us updated on your progress. You are welcome to give my cell number to your husband so he can maybe text me or call me to let us know how you are doing. Also, Scott has a date of October 17th for his VSG with Dr. McGill. And Vickie will have some reconstruction done in November. Let's keep these dates in mind. My prayers and thoughts are with you all!!
Another reason I am writing is that there was some interest in another weeknight meeting for those unable to make it today or who just want to meet again. Right now we are planning on meeting Monday night at Broadway Diner at 7 p.m. If any of you are interested please contact me via email PM so we can be prepared.
Margie, thought you were coming today, hope you are okay, please contact me and let me know.
Thanks so much for your participation!
Any ideas, questions, comments?
Until next time...
We are committed toa charity event for that evening.

OPTION 3 Apple Festival: Frolicking with my lover in a grove of apple trees with clean mountain air, blue skies, and a gentle breeze blowing my hair. He feeds me a crisp apple freshly plucked from a heavily laden branch. Juice dribbles down my chin. He kisses it off. We fall into a passionate embrace, and for that brief moment everything is ok with the world.
Then..........
Listen to a bunch of fat and formerly fat ladies whine about food getting stuck, loose skin, weird rashes, throwing up, protein powder. Whispers about who lost too much weight and looks crack-head-ish, who hasn't lost enough, and what happend to so and so with all the complications. And for a brief moment everything is chaotic..........and fun! ;-)
Or just come to the M & G and I'll give u a damn apple! lol
