YaaaY for you!
You worked so hard for this and waited like forever. I am very proud of you for sticking to your mission and not letting the red tape scare you away.
Welcome to the rest of your life. Skinny feels good as heck. You are gonna be amazed!
Can't wait to see you at the clothes swap November 12th. You'll be needing some skinny gear by then :-)

Topic: I'm sleeved!!!!
I had vertical sleeve surgery on Wednesday, September 14. Everything went so fast. I arrived at Northside Hospital at 9:00 am. IV was started and I talked to Dr. Macik and his surgurical team. Next, I woke up in recovery moaning over a huge gas bubble in my belly. I was given some good meds because the next thing I remembered was my hubby rubbing my hands in my hospital room.
I spent Wednesday evening resting and burping. I have not experienced gas since recovery. Later, the x-ray dept came to complete a leak test. I watched my new tiny tummy on the screen. It was unreal! Everything looked great and I was cleared to drink.
Thursday, I walked the halls in the hospital. Dr. Macik came to let me know I could go home or stay another night. Of course, I chose to go home. My hubby drove me home Thursday evening. I am thanking God because everything went well. Please make room for me on the loser's bench!
