We were just in Las Vegas for Christmas and came back last night. I like to play black jack. I use to play the nickel slots but i always went through my money. This year when we got to our hotel, we won $350.00 off just $80.00. So that was preety good but then we lost it. Imagine that. Marti

Hello Marti....just realized that OH had a Gambling board. I am kinda new at all this..just one month post op from lap-rny and sure wish I could get to Las Vegas. I live about one hour from river boats in Shreveport,LA so I don't get to vegas much anymore. Would love to go though. More excitement for sure! Good Luck on your gambling adventures......

Hi Linda, Well congratulations on becoming a "loser". i have really enjoyed it and look forward to more. Yeah they do have this gambling board but very few people get on. I love to gamble in Las Vegas. Went to the boats and wasn't impressed what so ever. I guess once you been to Vegas everything else is a drag. Marti

Yea.. I know that is so true.... vegas is vegas and nothing can take the place of the great gambling city of the world. I have been to Reno and Lake Tahoe and wasn't even close to Vegas. Sure do miss playing slots in Vegas... maybe one day again. Anyway, good luck to u on your gambling wherever that may be and Thanks so much for your encouraging words on my WLS!

I love to play the tables. I go to Vegas every year for the slot tournaments at the Imperial. Slots are scary. The strip is supposed to be the last place to play. Check out Vegas.com. It's run by Anthony Edwards, whom you can see on the poker nights sometimes. He is the guy running around in the background with a microphone. lol Hope to go to Canada this weekend as a birthday gift to myself. Hope I can win more than I take. Had my horoscope done in March this year and she said not to take "all my money" to vegas in late August, so I'll take it to Canada and see how I do. I also play bingo but that's getting boring. I like the tables better, although it's expensive and lucky cards are definately the order of the day. Marilyn

Marilyn, Hello!! Wow i didn't even know they had slot tournaments. That is how much i gamble on them. My husband and I love the tables. 7 years ago i would have chose the slots but have a new found love with the tables in just 5 years. My husband would love to go to Canada. I am always checking on prices to see if we can make that happen for him. Right now no, but in the future maybe. Hm maybe if they read your cards and told you not to take all your money to Vegas, maybe that is a good sign. Enjoy your birthday and let me know how you did. Marti
