HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a safe happy health holiday season.

For me this is that day of the LAST SUPER. Prime Rib, Garlic Mashed potatoes, a homemade dinner roll, ginger carrots and salad fallowed by a nice peace MEDIUM peace of cheese cake.  I wont over due it because I really want to be a looser at my Weigh****chers Weigh in Saturday. But, my LAST day to splurge before surgery prep and then the BIG DAY 1/5.

I was wondering what others did at this point in the process. What was your last meal??? Before surgery?? Did you celebrate in some way???

Dinner at Goodfellas with the nephlets. Salad, filet mignon with crab, asparagus spears, sauted mushrooms and a good cup of coffee. Even with all that, it was a low carb feast. Then began the dreaded liquid diet.

Good luck with surgery. Soon you are gonna love your new tummy!

I had a few "last suppers". I went home for Thanksgiving for two weeks and and like a pig while there not sure about what I would and wouldn't be able to eat post-op. I did go out with friends who supported me from the beginning to Uno's. The last thing I ate before surgery was some chicken fingers and potatoes baked with Italian dressing.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

You're gonna laugh at me...

I had baked salmon with broccoli and sweet potatoes.  I know I had dessert, but I can't remember what it was.

I was afraid to do the "Last Supper" thing.  But, I did enjoy my meal and ate as much as I wanted.

Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I have to admit I did it sensibly.. I weighed and measured EVERYTHING and even wrote it down... And made sure I had an hour and a half in the health club before work today..  I guess once your in the zone its hard to break even the habit of eating healthy. Tomorrow is the test.. I hope I will be down 5 at Weigh****chers tomorrow. We'll see.

From here the new life begins...

Yummy last supper! My last supper story is kind of funny. II gave it a lot of thought. I finally decided on the Cheesecake Factory. They used to have a towering meatloaf dinner that was a thick slice of bread,, topped with huge meatloaf slice covered in mashed potatoes and onion rings drizzled in gravy. A tower of calories and carbs. I loved it for years. We went and I ordered it. It came and was this sort of healthy meatloaf dinner. No tower, no onion rings, little pile of mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and a small  amount of gravy. I asked the server, "Did this change?"  He said, "Yeah, they made it a lot more healthier 9 months ago."  I enjoyed it anyway.

After 6 months, I now realize that I can have just about anything. It is just the quantity and frequency. I avoid those traits of the CF meatloaf tower, but I might treat my self to some on a future visit. It will probably be like 3 meals for me! -- Tom

I just have to wonder how many WW POINTS was that?? Is that even on the scale....... I think my WW coach would kick me out for that. Of course the whole class would make a stampede to the nearest cheese cake factory.
Thats a good one
