OK! How is glitter made? And how is it made in so many colors?

hate to say it but I have pondered this for WAY too long... I think the guy from Dirty Jobs must do glitter making!

I have found nothing!!! I checked GOOGLE and ASK.com nothing!

Wow... Now THAT is a great question, Becky! I LOVE glitter! But, I've never thought about how it is made. Great... now ya got me wondering! lol
