plastics questions

i was told by lrmc that even though i have a referral i may have to go back to the states or pay for it myself if the surgeon is only seeing active duty members and if it is not medically related i may have to pay for it myself??. has anyone else had this told to them, if so is it true? anyone know anything on this subject??

NO, it is not true. Get an appointment for yourself with your doc. tell him the prob you are having. If he feels it is somthing you need he will refer you to a doc. It may be a german doc or American, then after you see that doc you will turn your paperwork into tri-care and they will either approve you or not. This is what a friend of mine just did.
